Every SmartMrk+ feature, plus what an organization actually needs on top of it. Here is what each one means when you are running a team, not just a tag.
WHEN it is scanned, IF conditions match, THEN act.
A scan alert that fires identically for every scan, at every hour, from anywhere, is noise once you have more than a handful of tags. Smart Actions lets you set rules — WHEN a Mrk is scanned, IF it matches conditions you choose, THEN send a notification — so the alerts you get are the ones that actually need attention, not every single scan.
Everyone gets exactly the access their job needs.
A hotel front desk, a hospital ward, a school office — the person who scans a Mrk during their shift is rarely the person who should be able to delete it. Team Management gives every staff member a role: manage, view, or just scan. Nobody needs a shared login, and nobody has more access than their job requires.
One dashboard, every branch, ward or campus.
A single hotel is one thing to manage. Twelve hotels, or one hospital with nine wards, or a school district with six campuses, is another. Locations let you group and filter tags the way your organization is actually structured, instead of one long undifferentiated list.
One code claims the whole box.
Claiming tags one at a time works for a handful of pets and passports. It does not work for two hundred equipment tags or a school's worth of laptops. A business batch comes with a single setup code — enter it once, and every tag in that batch is claimed at the same time, with your template already filled in.
Enter your shared data once. Staff add only what differs.
Every tag in a hotel carries the same front-desk number. Every laptop in a school carries the same IT contact. A template holds that shared data once, so claiming a new tag pre-fills everything common to your organization and leaves only the one or two fields that actually differ from the item in front of you.
Every location, tag and team member — one screen, not five tabs.
An owner or admin needs a view a single tag page cannot give: how many tags are live, how many locations you are running, how the team is shaping up, and whether the subscription is in good standing. The organization dashboard is that view — the counts that matter at a glance, with quick links into Team, Locations and Templates, and into any individual tag for the scan history and messages that already live there.
Ward numbers, shelf codes, asset numbers — your own fields.
No generic tag profile has a field for your internal asset number, your ward code, or your shelf location — because those belong to your organization, not to a product schema. Business-specific fields let you add exactly the fields your operation actually uses, on top of whatever the tag type already provides.
